Supporting The Whitley Bay Community and Beyond

Bellwoods Lifestyle Store owner Nathalie has a background in the charity sector and it is important to us that we're pro-active in supporting our local community, Whitley Bay, and beyond.

We host monthly donation days, where we donate 10% of our daily sales to a not for profit/ charitable organisation.

Since we opened in 2021, we have donated almost £11,000 to different charities, including, The Angelou Centre, Smart Works Newcastle, Rape Crisis Tyneside and Northumberland, Mermaids, Oasis Community Housing, Surfers Against Sewage, Choose Love, Newcastle Cat and Dog Shelter, The People's Kitchen, The Hygiene Bank Tyne and Wear, Children North East, Action Foundation and more.

We also donate money and raffle prizes to different fundraising and community events throughout the year, like The Salto Arts Whitley Bay Carnival, Fiesta Community Festival Whitley Bay, and Friends of Bellwoods taking part in The Great North Run. Although as a small business we're not able to donate to everyone who asks, we do what we can to make retail a force for good in the community.
