Oh Lightning is an illustrative business creating feel-good things for you and your loved ones..
It all began in 2020 when founder Jodie Lightning started to share her drawings on social media and flourished from there. The range of Oh Lightning products has gone from a small selection of prints to a wide range of clothing and homeware.
We've admired Jodie's work since we opened, and Bellwoods is now happily stocking a collection of Oh Lightning cards and prints. Jodie often pops up in the shop on Saturdays selling her full range, which includes mugs, clothing, tote bags and decorations too.
Jodie is a regular at other makers markets in the North and loves getting to chat about her work face to face. That's why it's an extra special privilege for us to be an Oh Lightning stockist, because Jodie is in the shop on a weekly basis as part of the Bellwoods team too.
Jodie's work is inspired by her own feelings and experiences. The pieces are made to make you feel things and bring a sense of nostalgia and comfort. With a focus on mindfulness and expression, her cards and prints have us down to a T. We're planning to use her Nights Like These print as inspiration for our next Bellwoods team outing.
