This Give Back Friday, 21st February, we’re supporting local charity, Whitley Bay Big Local by donating 10% of the day's sales in-store and online to the community hub.
Whitley Bay Big Local is a community-led charity that owns and runs the Whitley Bay Hub. They offer a friendly café, alongside regular activities, from family crafts, to parenting support, a pay as you go pantry, and repair shop, all with the vision of making Whitley Bay an even better place to live. A place where people feel more connected to each other and to their town.

Financial inequality is growing in Whitley Bay, and many people are struggling with the cost of living, or are living with disabilities and health conditions, all of which can make them feel lonely and isolated.

Big Local helps people with food, energy and housing advice, and has developed projects to help combat loneliness, through support, resources and activity groups. Our donation to the charity will directly fund their activities, providing vital support to people in our community.
