This month we made an appearance in not one but two publications of our favourite magazine, 91 Magazine ...
91 is an independent interiors and lifestyle magazine created by Caroline Rowland. We're big fans of the magazine and stock it at Bellwoods which makes these features extra special to us.
Caroline had been running business sessions on how to publish your own lifestyle book as part of the magazines online offering and decided to have a go at it herself. 91 released the first in a new series of books - Places to Shop.
The book details the best and most beautiful lifestyle stores around the UK and we're delighted to feature as part of the section on the North East alongside some other wonderful shops, Behalla, Colours May Vary, Hare & Wilde, Something Good, Swallows & Damsons, The Flower Folk and Trapeze Kids.
Inside, the book explores the independent touches that each retailer brings to their shop and showcases beautiful images. Our customers have even commented that the book has brought them inspiration for their homes too.
The first batch of the book is completely sold out via 91 directly but we still have a few copies available to purchase at Bellwoods online or in-store. It's a must for anyone who loves a good shop - we're planning our UK lifestyle shop tour as we speak ..
Just as we'd stopped being dazzled by Places to Shop - the next quarterly issue of the 91 magazine e-zine landed in our inboxes with Bellwoods as the peachy cover girl.
"There is an abundance of beautiful objects to pick up and touch. From stylish sunglasses, design-led backpacks, organic art prints and characterful ceramics - all waiting to be examined more closely. While the product range is wide there is a high quality of design and craft which allows everything to sit together harmoniously.
A passion for supporting the local community and being kind to the planet is embedded in everything Nathalie selects for the store. “I want the shop to be about lifestyle - offering design-led and planet friendly things for you, your home, and life,” she explains, “things from brands you know and love, and from designers you’re yet to know and love.”
The e-zine features more pictures of the shop taken by the wonderful Nancy Straughan and tells the story of how Bellwoods came to fruition.
You can download the e-zine for free by subscribing to the 91 mailing list which we'd strongly recommend anyway for beautiful inbox treats.
